You and your profile

Personal progress, community activities and profile controls in MedBuk Preview.

The You tab in mobile Preview 1.9.0 brings your profile and private movement progress together. Your health passport stays separate from your social profile. The browser app supports shared-profile links; these native progress tabs are not available in the PWA yet.

Your profile

If you have not created a social profile, you can use personal progress and your health passport without one. Choose Create profile when you want to connect.

After creating a profile, the header shows your name, handle, visibility and real follower/following counts. Tap either count to open the matching list. Edit profile opens the existing name and privacy editor. Submitted changes follow moderation. Search and Settings are available from the toolbar.

Progress

Last 7 days shows the steps available from Apple Health or Health Connect. Choose Connect steps if you have not connected this account on this device. Only step read access is requested. These values remain on your device; they are not sent to a social profile, employer or leaderboard by this screen.

  • Today is still in progress. The chart uses your device's local calendar days.
  • Missing or unavailable readings show as unknown, not zero. A partial total says how many of the seven days have readings.
  • Movement details lists the daily totals. Retry is available after a read error.
  • The screen refreshes while open and when you return to it.
  • Web browsers cannot read native health history.

Optional consistency streak

Choose a personal daily step goal to enable a private streak. The choice is optional, saved for this account on this device, and is not a clinical recommendation or a prize score.

Counting starts on the local calendar day you choose your goal. Changing the goal starts a new plan today. Keeping the same goal preserves its start date. A day meeting the goal counts toward consecutive days; today's unfinished total does not erase completed previous days. Missing readings keep continuity unconfirmed.

The view reads at most 28 days. A plus sign means the confirmed streak reaches this view's limit, not a measured lifetime streak. You can change or stop the goal at any time.

Activities

This tab shows clubs, events and challenges you are currently enrolled in, using the available community catalog. Dates show when you joined, not proof that you attended an event or completed an activity. It is not a full historical activity feed. Tap an item for its details. If the list is empty, choose Explore community. Your health records have their own shortcut and are not included in this list.

More and Settings

More groups Health passport, Welcome rewards, Medical leave, community requests, managed clubs and notifications. The Settings gear opens privacy, preferences, onboarding replay, language, account sign-out and app version information. Existing privacy changes still require explicit confirmation.

Share profile

An approved public social profile can open the system share sheet. The link contains a profile ID; it does not contain health readings or your private progress. A private or unapproved profile displays an explanation instead of silently becoming public. Closing the share sheet does not send anything.

Shared-profile links currently target the isolated Preview browser app at user.medbuk.cenvora.dev. Recipients sign in before viewing. The API still checks visibility and blocking. Unavailable, private, blocked, deleted or invalid profiles do not reveal the identity. The page is excluded from search indexing and social-preview metadata is generic. Links from production builds remain unavailable until a matching member browser site is configured; Preview never redirects identity data to the live portal database.

If you still see the older screen

Close and reopen MedBuk Preview with internet access to download the update. After it downloads, close and reopen once more. In You → Settings, the source version should read MedBuk+ 1.9.0. The installed native build can still say 1.8.0 (14): this change is an over-the-air update, not a new Apple installation.
